Research objective

In 2015, B&M Analysts was commissioned by a leading MENA country to develop a detailed set of policy prescriptions for the establishment of its automotive industry.

Outcome

A robust base from which to advocate for the state’s large scale investment in its automotive industry, in a bid to diversify its economy.

Executive summary

The three-phase project was concluded in 2016, following a detailed interrogation of the global automotive landscape, as well as automotive policies in five countries and the extent to which related industries have succeeded or failed within these geographies as a result.

Value add to the client

The findings were tailored to client-specific dynamics, and the insights developed created a solid, statistically sound basis for modelling the country’s automotive industry development.

Results and future plans

Although only recently completed, the findings stemming from this report are intended to provide a robust base from which to advocate for the state’s large scale investment in its automotive industry, in a bid to diversify its economy.
