DAC Skills Development Technical Steering Committee Meeting

It is imperative that firms maximise their BBBEE-related spend whilst still achieving firm-level benefits. A lack of knowledge or experience in this realm can lead to firms not effectively utilising BBBEE spend. A number of DAC member firms who have had experience in this regard shared their knowledge and experiences on the topic with the DAC.

The morning included a graduation ceremony for those learners who completed the DAC TRACE programme in 2017. The ceremony included a presentation by the TRACE facilitator on the benefits of the programme for both the learners and firms involved, as well as presentations from a number of TRACE learners on their experiences of the programme.
